At the beginning of August, we reported that the adoption of Macs within IBM It was fast. Well now a very interesting data related to this.
At a JAMF Nation User Conference (JNUC) session, Fletcher Previn vice president of Workplace-as-a-Service IBM revealed that only 5% of Mac users in Big blue make calls to your help desk, compared to 40% of PC users.
Still according to Previn, IBM is now running an average of 1,900 new Macs a week. There are now over 130,000 Apple devices (including Macs and iGadgets) being used within the company, and they need a support staff of just 24 professionals.
Too bad it took a while to figure it out.
