Luis Salvado is the new executive chairman of Novabase. With a degree in engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, the 42-year-old executive has hitherto performed functions in the company’s administration, with responsibility for the financial, human resources and business areas of Novabase Consulting.
In a statement, the company explains that Luis Salvado was a unanimous choice. Rogério Carapuço, who remains at the company as chairman of the Board of Directors, says that the new manager has “the personal qualities, experience and knowledge of the company that will certainly allow him to achieve an excellent performance of the position, thus guaranteeing a solution strong, renewed, forward-looking executive leadership. “
Rogério Carapuça, 52, has been in Novabase’s executive presidency since 1999. He joined the company in 1994, coming from INESC where he was a researcher and where Novabase was also born in 1989.
