Find your lost Apple gadgets easily.
Apple has a service that helps track and locate the devices it makes, helping homeowners to relieve some of the tension when they are unable to locate their iPhone or MacBook. From the WWDC 2019, with the introduction of iOS 13 and macOS 10.15 (Catalina), the service joined the Find My Friends – app used to share your location with friends – and has been incorporated into iCloud and it simply became Find My, including the location of the company's notebooks.

Searching from any Apple device
Reproduction: AppleStep 1: Open the search app, remembering that the reference version we are using Catalina.
Step 2: Click the Devices tab at the bottom of your screen.
Step 3: Look in the listing for the gadget you want to find, which must be linked with your Apple ID to be displayed and the procedures work.
Step 4: As soon as you find it in the list, click and mark it as lost, delete it or make a beep.

Step 3: Choose the device you want to track or find the location.
Step 4: Being online, the location will be immediately shown on the map.
Step 5: In case you are offline, choose one of the 3 options described above, turn off the device, give the command for the device to play a beep or mark as lost.
It is very important to be aware that for the procedures to work the device must be online, either by Wi-Fi or mobile data. Otherwise, only the last location to which you were connected appears, which can be a problem if it has not been stolen or forgotten in public transport, making it very difficult to recover.
