Logoist 2: creating quality logos on your Mac

Creating a logo is not easy. Currently, several tools are available on the Mac App Store, but without a doubt the Logoist 2, created by Synium staff, deserves to be highlighted.

The app, fully optimized for OS X Yosemite, allows the creation of files in image format (PNG, JPEG, PSD and PDF). To start the work, dozens of models are available on a selection screen, right after opening the application. If you prefer, you can also start a job from scratch.

When choosing a model, it is presented in a part window, which can be enlarged or not. In each of the models, you will find several animated points; click on one of them and change the background, click on another and change the font or pattern of the text, and so on.

In addition to this option, a complete editor is present in the app, allowing not only the simplest changes, but adding effects, cliparts, images, objects, and more. What I found more cool is that you get total control of the items, taking personalization to a much greater level.

Because it has so many resources, at first the application may seem somewhat complicated. It takes a while to get the hang of it and using the user guide (51 pages in PDF) is a great facilitator in your learning process.

In addition to logos, Logoist also serves to design cards, banners, make photo collages or improve the look of what you are working on, all with quality and very interesting results.
