Logitech's M600 Touch Mouse arrives to fight head-on with Apple's Magic Mouse

After coming with the strange Cube, the Logitech is now back with the Touch Mouse M600 a direct competitor to Apple's Magic Mouse.

With a drop shape, the peripheral has a surface that is completely sensitive to touch, but it also uses part of the technology presented with the Cube, enabling left and right clicks, as well as scrolling vertically or horizontally.

The M600 Touch Mouse uses 2.4GHz RF connectivity (runs on a single AA battery), communicating with a traditional tiny USB receiver. Logitech says it is aimed at Windows 7, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well on Mac OS X.

The product will reach the international market this month, for US $ 70.
