Loch Ness Monster Appears on Google Maps

Google recently updated its map application with new route information. And as it could not be, the search engine took advantage of the update to pay homage to the most well-known creature in cryptozoology worldwide.

By tracing a route between Fort Augustus and Urquhart Castle in the UK, users can see a legendary surprise: the presence of the Loch Ness Monster among the alternative routes.

The Monster’s most recent sighting occurred back in early May, when the cruise ship Jacobite Queen reported a foreign object in its underwater scanning equipment.
