List of Linux Games in 2018

In this post we will show some important games that have already been released for Linux and that are still coming out.

Gone are the days when "Linux had no games" or "Linux does not run games". This has been dropping steadily each year, thanks to efforts by companies like Valve (owner of Steam), GoG, Nueevem and Feral to make games initially made for Windows run in Linux environments.

List of Linux Games in 2018

Another initiative that took over 2018, was the popularization of the VULKAN graphics API, which brings numerous improvements to the games and also being multiplatform, this helps the devs to more easily port games to various platforms such as Linux, Windows and macOS

Today we will show some games which have already been released for Linux and which ones will still be. The list is pretty cool, highlighting two Battle Royale games.

Let's start with the titles that have already been released:

As an honorable mention, we have the beta of Turok 2: Seed of Evil, Desperados – Wanted Dead or alive, POSTAL Redex, SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics and many others who do their own games for Linux.

In the other part of the list, we will show some titles that are with their expected releases for the second half of this year (2018) and early next year (2019). The games are:

Crazy Justice (Battle Royale) "Between July 20 – July 30";

Two Point Hospital – August 30;
