Two books that address different sides of Steve Jobs are released

Lisa Brennan-Jobs memoir has excerpt published before launch

We already talked here about the future release of the memoir of Lisa Brennan-Jobs, daughter of the mythical Apple CEO. Now, with just over a month to go before he launches (he hits the shelves of the world on the day September 4th), more details about the work are appearing on the networks.

The book is called "Small Fry" and, as we have already said, it will be largely devoted to reflections by Lisa (who is already a celebrated writer in her own right, good to remember) about her relationship with her father, especially in her teenage years and, later, in the last months of her life. of Jobs and shortly after his death.

On the cover of the book, an excerpt from an analysis by the American critic Philip Lopate describes the work as follows: “More insightful, fascinating, honest, unsentimental and sad than any memory book I have read in recent years. No book or film has captured Steve Jobs as distinctly as this. ”

THE Vanity Fair published an excerpt from the book that touches on subjects such as Lisa's first visits to Jobs's house after her death, when she went out picking up her father's personal items without anyone knowing, or her father's relationship with a Brazilian Buddhist guru during his last months of life. To those who are in English, the text is beautiful and worth reading before the publication of the book itself.

There are still no plans for "Small Fry" be translated into Brazilian Portuguese, but we hope it will not take long and we will be waiting for news.
