Linux Mint 19.3 is officially released

The long awaited version 19.3 comes out of beta and is officially available for download.

As promised, the Mint 19.3 arrives before Christmas and bringing all the news that were presented in the beta.

System Reporting Tool;

Language settings;

HiDPI support;

3 apps were replaced, which were: Celluloid instead of Xplayer, Gnote replaces Tomboy and Drawing instead of GIMP.

New logo;

Splash screen renewed;

Linux Mint 19.3 based on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, with 3 Kernel versions: 4.15.0-72 (LTS) / 5.0.0-37 (Support at Feb / 2020) and 5.3.0-24 (Support at ago / 2020). NVIDIA drivers are on 390.x / 430.x and 435.x (if you need more versions, you can use ppa). Mesa Driver is on version 19.0.8 but you can also use ppa to upgrade.

System Requirements:

1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended for comfortable use);

15 GB of disk space (20 GB recommended);

1024768 resolution (at lower resolutions, press ALT to drag windows with mouse if they do not fit the screen);
