The National Telecommunications Agency has had a lot of work in the last few days. Just last week she published the approval of the new 12-inch MacBook, then the day before yesterday released the Apple Watch charger and today it was the turn of the Apple Watch demo panels.
Here is the Technical Compliance Certificate:
And the photos of the units sent for Anatel's approval:
The agency approved two distinct models, the A1622 (portable version) and the A1623 (fixed back for store tables). It is interesting to note that these panels are “powered” by an iPad mini with Retina screen, which connects to the Apple Watch through a special cable on a proprietary bracelet.
We saw these panels in droves at Apple Retail Stores in countries that are already selling the Apple Watch and soon, they will soon be painting in Ma stores in So Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
