After departing for the 2020 edition of CES with a bag full of new technological equipment, including a new laptop aimed at those who prefer to play on the PC, Lenovo is back to betting on the market for computers for gamers. The Chinese manufacturer is preparing to launch a new line of Legion notebooks in 2020.
The new Lenovo Legion 7i features the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics card with Max-Q, a 10-generation Intel Core H-Series processor. To gamers, the manufacturer promises the highest clock speeds and new levels of realism in current AAA games.
The Legion 7i does not arrive alone, as the younger brother, the Legion 5i, will also be available this year. In addition to having a 10-generation Intel Core H-Series processor, the notebook supports NVIDIA graphics cards up to RTX 2060. In addition, the new Chinese brand gaming computers support NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, promising smoother gaming experiences.
Lenovo says that both the Legion 7i and the 5i will be the brand's first gaming notebooks to feature the new NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. The technology makes it possible to improve battery efficiency by detecting GPU workloads. For more demanding situations, Advanced Optimus automatically connects the NVIDIA graphics card, while for lighter loads, the system connects the integrated graphics processor.
