Cropping photos is possible with the Google Photos app, the native image manager for Android phones. The app also has an iPhone version (iOS) and has unlimited free storage in the cloud. The crop function is useful for removing unwanted people and objects or adjusting the photo frame.

Step 1. Open Google Photos and find the image you want to crop. That done, tap on the edit button at the bottom of the screen;

Step 2. Still at the bottom of the screen, tap on the third button. Now, use the four dots at the corners of the photo to adjust the area to be cropped;

Step 3. If you want, you can use the first button on the bottom bar to choose a predefined proportion, rotate the photo or rotate 90Āŗ to the left;

Step 4. After making all the desired adjustments, tap «Done». Finally, click on «Save copy» at the top of the screen.
