The new countdown sticker from Instagram is ideal for sharing on the social network the remaining time for the start of a certain event, such as birthday, holiday or another commemorative date.

How to set the color of the sticker
Step 1.
Tap the camera icon to access the camera from Stories mode.
To continue, record a photo or video;

Step 2.
Tap on the sticker icon and click on the countdown thumbnail;

Step 3.
To change the count color, click on the circle icon at the top of the screen.
It is possible to choose solid and gradient colors in purple, green, orange, pink, red, black, white, yellow and blue.

How to access countdown history
Step 1.
Tap on the sticker icon and choose the countdown thumbnail;

The counts you created will be listed on the screen.

How to reuse a historical countdown
Step 1.
Access the option to add a countdown;

Step 2.
Touch the count you want to reuse so that it is added as a sticker to the photo or video.

How to delete a history countdown
Access the history and tap the three dots icon on one of the countdowns.
Once this is done, tap «Delete» to remove the history counter.

Configure countdown notification
When viewing a Counted Stories, tap the arrow icon over the numbers and select the «Reminder enabled» option.

How to see who set up notification for your countdown
Every time someone signs up for the count, Instagram alerts the user with an alert in the app’s notifications tab.

7.
Share another colleague’s countdown
Step 1.
When viewing a friend’s countdown, tap on the arrow icon and choose the option «Share countdown»;

Step 2.
The count will appear on the Stories camera.
Just take the photo or video and end the sharing for the countdown to appear in the new post.
