Leak indicates Chromebook production equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845

THE Qualcomm It is investing heavily in processors for computers running Windows 10, but the company may attack the PC market on one side: chromebooks.

According to leaks discovered by the site About Chromebooks, O chromebook called "Cheza" a 2 in 1 device equipped with Snapdragon 845 processor, Qualcomm's top of the line smartphone.

Information indicates that the product is a notebook with a resolution display of 2,560 x 1,440 px and featuring two USB Type-C inputs. Like Windows 10 models, the device should always be on, bringing an LTE modem.

It is still unclear who the company behind Cheza would be, but it makes a lot of sense that Qualcomm will team chromebooks with its ARM processors to make room against Intel.

Qualcomm processors geared toward always-on PCs often receive criticism for low battery life and limited performance. Because chromebooks are geared toward more basic tasks and run Chrome OS, you probably won't suffer from these problems.

Qualcomm has not officially commented on the information.
