Pendrives have always broken a good branch for many people, after all, stick a small “keychain” in the USB port of the Mac and easily transfer a few megabytes / gigabytes a hand on the wheel. But Kingston decided to take this pendrive story to another level with the DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 (yes, that’s the name), as reported by the Techgage.
This small accessory can store up to 1TB of data. Serious, a 1TB inside a 7.1 × 2.6 × 2.1cm pendrive! Incredible, isn't it? Performance is also quite good, with 240MB / s reading speed and 160MB / s writing speed.
The problem, of course, is the price: the 1TB model is not yet on sale, it will be launched in the first quarter of 2013, but the 512GB pendrive costs US $ 1,750. Clearly these peripherals do not have us, home consumers, as the target audience. But it is still interesting to know that a pendrive today has reached this level of capacity.
