THE Kingston recently announced the availability of encrypted branded pendrives with 128GB. The company's sector responsible for flash memory claims that the new capacity will reach three encrypted models that already exist in the pendrive portfolio.

With the transition, Kingston Technology will be the majority shareholder of Kingston Solutions, Inc

The three options mentioned are, specifically the devices DataTraveler Locker + G3 (DTLPG3), DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 (DTVP 3.0) and DataTraveler 4000G2 (DT4000G2DM). The former is considered to be an easy-to-use flash drive with hardware encryption and password protection, while DTVP 3.0 brings slightly more complex features such as a "read-only" mode.

Finally, the DataTraveler 4000G2 (DT4000G2DM) wins the "high-end" pendrive rank on that list, with FIPS (United States Federal Information Security Standard) level 3 certification and 256-bit AES-XTS encryption. This device, specifically, will be available from the 27th of July.

The DTLPG3 is available with capacities between 8GB and, now, 128GB. The DTVP 3.0 and DT4000G2DM pendrives can be found from 4GB.
