KDE Plasma 5.15.2 Releases Just One Week After First Patch Patch

The new version of KDE Plasma comes to improve interface stability and timely corrections.

One of the most famous graphic interface projects in the Linux world, KDE Plasma, launched on Tuesday (26th), the second patch patch for the interface with minor enhancements and patches that hit the first patch.

In a note posted on their official blog, the KDE team mentions that some feature refinements and some new modules have been made to make their desktop experience even more complete. Check out the excerpt:

KDE Plasma 5.15 was released in February with many feature refinements and new modules to complete the desktop experience. This new version, added a week later, comes with new translations and corrections from KDE contributors. Bug fixes are generally small but important.

KDE Plasma New Version Enhancements

The Kickoff application menu has received some bug fixes, as you can see in this Commit with this Fixes bug # 402614 and Phabricator Code review D19023, and this Commit with the following Phabricator Code review D19154. The screen filter for the Global Menu applet has also been improved and the selection of several files, which had some inconsistencies and errors, now work normally.

Other important components have also been updated, such as: Plasma Workspace, Plasma Desktop, KWin, Plasma Discover, Plasma Add-ons, Info Center, KDE GTK Config and xdg-desktop-portal-kde.

It is worth mentioning that the next KDE Plasma update should arrive soon, if schedules are kept, it should land in districts using KDE Plasma on March 12th.
