Kate Winslet takes another award for her role in the film “Steve Jobs”

After taking a Golden Globe and being nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for his role in “Steve Jobs”, Kate Winslet now won another award.

As reported by the Daily Mail Online, the 40-year-old English actress who played the role of Joanna Hoffman (former Macintosh marketing chief), won the award for Best Supporting Actress Critics Circle Film Awards.

The film was also competing for other trophies (Michael Fassbender for Actor of the Year; Aaron Sorkin for Screenwriter of the Year; Elliott Graham for Editor of the Year), but none of them managed to win. Fassbender also competed for the Irlands Actor of the Year, just like Winslet was also in the running for British Actress of the Yearbut they also didn’t take it.
