Judge determines: Apple will face class action for inspecting employee bags

Just over a month ago, we talked about a lawsuit filed by some employees of Apple who claimed to be being “Treated like thieves” in handbag / bag magazines as they leave their work shifts. The original action was dismissed by Judge William Alsup, but the group did not give up and tried to make it a to the collective.

Today, as reported by Reuters, the same judge certified the collective action as valid and proceeded with the lawsuit against Apple. With that, about 12,000 people 52 Apple Retail Stores in California will be represented simultaneously in the action.
