Nobody holds Apple in the making of its first exclusive series, the reality “Planet of the Apps”. After will.i.am and Gwyneth Paltrow, the Variety reported that another internationally named star is joining the show: Jessica Alba.
The actress (known for her roles in films like “Fantastic Four”, “Sin City: The City of Sin”, etc.) plays the same role as the other stars of the series and the entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk: executive producer and mentor of the developers who will be portrayed in the show.
The publication also reported that Lightspeed Venture Partners, the company that first funded Snapchat and The Honest Company (a consumer goods company co-founded by Alba), will be a partner in the series' venture capital, initially contributing $ 10 million to the production.
Registrations to participate in “Planet of the Apps” they are still open on the official website and will continue until September 21st.
