iTunes Festival is now Apple Music Festival and will take place for 10 days, at the end of September

After eight years running iTunes Festivals, Ma's great musical event has just gained a new name: Apple Music Festival.

It will continue to be held in September and at the London Roundhouse (UK), but its duration has been reduced from 30 to 10 days from 9/19 to 9/28. Among the artists and bands already confirmed for this year, are Pharrell Williams, One Direction, Florence + The Machine and Disclosure.

The name is not for nothing: this time, the Festival will be fully integrated with Apple Music with coverage of the Beats 1 radio and integration of participants via Apple Music Connect. The whole world can follow live shows via iGadgets, Macs and PCs, as well as Apple TVs.

As usual, tickets to the Apple Music Festival remain free and fans who are in London during the period can apply for tickets through Apple Music itself, in addition to partners such as the newspaper London Evening Standard.

As the rest of the schedule is announced, we will detail it here on the website.
