With that in mind, Apple made it easy to access subscriptions with a small update on iOS that made this process simpler. More precisely, you can now view the “Manage Subscriptions” link directly from your Apple ID screen on the App Store, as noted by the editor in chief of MacStories, Federico Viticci.

To verify the change and access your active / expired subscriptions, just follow these steps:

  1. Open the App Store on iPhone or iPad;
  2. Touch your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen;

    App Store Home

  3. Select “Manage Subscriptions”;

    Apple ID Subscription Link

From then on, the method to cancel / resume a subscription remains the same as before: to terminate it, simply select the service you wish to stop subscribing to and tap “Cancel Subscription”. For expired subscriptions, select the service you wish to reactivate and tap the best subscription option available to you (it will be recurring).

Cancel / resume subscriptions.

It is noteworthy that the new link to manage subscriptions is only available to users running iOS 12.1.4 or higher (including beta versions). For those with an earlier version of iOS, subscription management requires an extra step by tapping the Apple ID profile icon on the Store, as explained in our tutorial.
