Other World Computing had taken the lead this time, but the iFixit guys couldn't help but do their traditional disassembly (teardown) of the new Mac Pro.
Only their photos already make it worthwhile, starting with this one:
IFixit really liked what it found there. In addition to the ease of opening the Mac Pro case, they see how simple it is to change / upgrade RAM and SSD (flash drive), as well as confirm that this will also be possible with the CPU and even with the single large fan. On the other hand, the rear input and output (I / O) ports are all together on the logic board.
The internal design of the components, they note, somewhat resembles that of the new AirPorts Time Capsule and Extreme. See some more photos:
