If you have a technology fair that doesn't seem to miss out on Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Inaugurated in 1967 (48 years ago), the 2016 edition is taking place this week from the 6th to the 9th of January. As always, several companies take the opportunity to launch relevant products / accessories to the Apple world.
We separated some of them below for you to know, see just:
BreakSafe Magnetic USB Type C Cable | Griffin
Created specifically for the new MacBook, this accessory gives users the convenience of Apple's MagSafe connector (currently used on MacBooks Air and Pro). Unlike USB-C, MagSafe connects in a magnetic way and is easily removed if someone trips over the wire or the like, preventing your machine from going to the floor. This beauty hit the market in April costing $ 40 and comes with a 1.8m USB-C cable.
Travel Power Bank | Griffin
Some may not even call, but no one * likes * to have a watch with a battery that lasts 1-2 two days. Thinking about it, Griffin launched this little accessory that is nothing more than a 800mAh portable battery / keychain so that you can recharge your Apple Watch anywhere (up to 4 full recharges), without needing an outlet nearby. It starts selling in the second half, for $ 70.
Uptown Leather & Trainer Watch Band | Griffin
Uptown Leather ($ 60) is a two-turn leather strap (very similar to the Herms Double Tour bracelet) made for 38mm Apple Watches.
J the Trainer Watch (US $ 40) made of silicone, for 42mm Apple Watches, is a more traditional option of bracelet for those who want to use the watch even if they keep a sporty footprint.
They will hit the market in the third quarter in a variety of colors (light brown, black, light gray and light green for Uptown Leather; black, white, red and blue for Trainer Watch).
Polar Balance
This Polar scale connects to your iPhone and helps with the mission of controlling weight by offering motivational feedbacks, tips for losing weight specific to each user, among other things all through the Polar Flow app and connecting to Polar Loop, Loop 2 products, Loop Crystal, A360, M400 and V800. It costs $ 100 and is already out there.
Fitbit Blaze
We are talking about a smartwatch capable of monitoring sleep, sports activities (automatically) and heart rate, in addition to having smart notifications, smartphone music control, among other things. Like the Apple Watch, it also has a good number of accessory options (bracelets and housings) for you to leave everything your way. Oh, and they promise a battery that can last up to five days! The watch is already in pre-order, for $ 200.
Misfit Ray
Ray is a wearable accessory that can be worn on the wrist or neck (like a string) and offers many customization options. Like most of these gadgets, it tracks sleep, physical activities (like cycling or yoga), steps and calories. In addition, it has alerts for calls, messages and alarms, lighting control, music and to take selfies. As it does not have a screen, its battery lasts about 6 months and it is still waterproof (50 meters). It is on pre-order and costs $ 100.
Misfit Specter
This is a very stout wireless headset that, in addition to noise cancellation and smart pause, has all the traditional monitoring options offered by Misfit gadgets: activity, sleep (yes, some crazy people will sleep with it in the ear), steps, distance, calories, etc. It will arrive sometime this year colors and prices have not been disclosed.
Aluminum VI | 4SecondLife
This accessory is nothing more than a small portable battery for iPhones 6 / 6s. In fact, they have three accessories: Aluminum V (for iPhones 5 / 5s; $ 75; 1,250mAh); Aluminum VI (for iPhones 6 / 6s; $ 85; 1,500mAh); and Aluminum VI Plus (for iPhones 6 Plus / 6s Plus; $ 100; 2,250mAh).
Studio | olloclip
Studio is a case for iPhones that offers a very complete integrated system for you to "hang" various accessories such as flash, trip, stabilizers, etc. It is on pre-sale for $ 90 and is expected to hit the market in February.
USB-C monitors | Lenovo, Acer and ASUS
If you have a MacBook and are looking for a monitor with USB-C connectivity, here are some brand new options that were launched at CES.
The ThinkVision X24 Pro and ThinkVision X1, both from Lenovo, feature resolutions of 19201080 pixels (24 inches) and 38402160 pixels (27 inches) respectively, for $ 400 and $ 800. Both will be available for purchase in May.
The H7 series, from Acer, has options of 25 and 27 inches both with 25601440 pixels of resolution and cost from US $ 500. They will hit the market in February.
ASUS has already launched the portable monitor MB169C +, an upgrade of the model MB168B + launched about two years ago. With 15.6 inches and Full HD resolution (1080p), it is undoubtedly a good option for those who are on the move all the time and want a slightly larger screen than the MacBook. It still has no set price or launch date just for comparison, the MB168B + model currently costs US $ 290.
The cool thing about these monitors is that when connecting the MacBook USB-C cable to them, the notebook is also charged in the case of the ASUS portable monitor, the MacBook serves as a power source for it.
Watch Valet Charge Dock for Apple Watch | Belkin
The new Belkin dock has a big difference: an integrated magnetic charger. This means that you do not need to use the magnetic charger cable that comes in the Apple Watch box. It is already on sale and costs $ 90.
Thermo and Go | Withings
The Thermo is a Wi-Fi thermometer that, with its 16 infrared sensors, can capture 4,000 temperature measurements through the temporal artery in just 2 seconds, making life easier especially for parents. It is powered by three AAA batteries, which run for up to two years. All information, of course, is transferred to an app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It costs $ 100 and will be released during the first quarter.
Go is another wearable gadget. As well as the many options mentioned even here in this article, he bets precisely on the battery requirement to differentiate himself from solutions such as the Apple Watch and Android smartwatches that can last up to 8 months without having to be recharged due to the display with e-ink technology . It monitors physical activities (including swimming), sleep, costs US $ 70 and will also be sold sometime in the first quarter.
Stay tuned, because tomorrow we will talk about even more accessory products presented at CES. 😉
