IRS app helps overseas travelers

Traveling abroad is the option of many Brazilians, but when you return to the country, do you know what you can bring in your suitcase without risking having your property seized in Customs? For Android users, the lack of this information is no longer a problem, but a solution. The IRS has developed an app called Travelers Abroad with the purpose of assisting travelers returning after an international trip. Did you know that among taxable goods, within the airway, you are entitled to a quota of $ 500.00 exemption? Know more.

For those who already know the Individual App, Travelers abroad has the same interface, simple, objective and the quality of content, both written and video. The application offers three user information options:

  • DBA Assistant Through questions and answers you assess the need to complete and submit the DBA Accompanied Baggage Statement.
  • Informative video presents the baggage rules and information on customs procedures.
  • Travel Tips practical, easy-to-read guide with luggage information, exemption limits, permitted quantities, general tips, etc.

With this little help, a trip abroad does not need headaches when returning home and enjoying the purchases made during the holidays or on business trips. To download the Foreign Travelers app, click on the following link:
