IPhones 6s / 6s Plus films cannot be used on iPhones 7/7 Plus either

The design change of iPhones 7 and 7 Plus didn’t seem as meaningful as we wanted. Even so, we have already seen that the rear has undergone some modifications that will prevent us from using cases of the iPhones 6s / 6s Plus in the new devices.

The bad news this time is that we won’t even be able to take advantage of the films previous devices on new iPhones.

In a comparison posted on Reddit, we can see the two generations of iPhones overlapping, showing that there will definitely be differences. Check out:

In the image on the left, you can see that the difference between iPhone 6s and 7 is very small and it may be possible to use the same film as the previous model. Even so, we need to keep an eye on the sensor, the camera and the speaker as they look slightly larger in the new model. On the right, the iPhones 6s Plus and 7 Plus have a much bigger difference, with the speakers being wider and, consequently, the camera further away.

If you didn’t notice much in the other post the difference in the rear of the new iPhones, the same user also superimposed them. Check out:

As the cameras are much larger and are placed slightly below the old ones, probably no case of the previous models can be used on the new iPhones.

Therefore, we must be careful if we need to buy cases or films in some unauthorized place as it is possible that they try to sell as being for new ones (since the dimensions of the devices themselves have not changed), even if they are not.
