After months of speculation and rumors, Apple made the second generation of the iPhone SE known to the world. Although based on an older model, the iPhone SE 2020 has an A13 processor, the same as the latest high-end smartphobes. To satisfy the curiosity of users who were waiting to see how the new phone compares to the rest, the popular benchmark tool AnTuTu decided to reveal its opinion.

The iPhone SE 2020 managed to reach a score of 492,166 in the AnTuTu ranking. In terms of performance, the new equipment surpasses the score of 443,337 of the iPhone XS Max, a smartphone launched in 2018 and which costs almost twice the price of the iPhone SE 2020.

Could the second generation of the iPhone SE be more powerful than the latest Apple models? AnTuTu reveals that the iPhone 11 Pro continues to reach a higher position in the ranking of iOS models, reaching 521,010 points. Almost the podium entrance is the iPhone 11 Pro with a score of 537,154.

Remember that, in addition to the A13 processor, Apple's most affordable smartphone has other updates borrowed from the latest brothers, including wireless charging capability. It also has an IP67 certification, being able to resist dust and water, at a depth of up to one meter, for 30 minutes. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 is IP68 certified, allowing it to be submerged indefinitely and to a greater depth, up to 3 meters.

In terms of photographic skills, iPhone SE presents a better camera than iPhone 8, based on a single 12 MP rear lens. Apple has added improvements such as image stabilization for video recording and achieving 4K quality at 60 FPS. In addition, iOS 13 adds new features, as well as a photo and video editor.

The screen is another of the differences between the new SE and the iPhone 11. The economy smartphone has a 4.7-inch Retina HD screen while the latest model has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD display. Although with different imaging technologies, both have the same number of pixels per inch.

Apple's current offering is vast across different generations of iPhone, offering a varied price spectrum for models with recent technologies, different sizes and capacities. One thing for sure: while Apple is getting ready to publicize the iPhone 12, experts have welcomed the new iPhone SE.
