iPhone: How to delete (uninstall) and organize apps on iOS 13 | Utilities

IOS 13, the new version of the iPhone system, has changed the way you organize or uninstall apps on your phone. Before, just keeping your finger pressed over the app's cone would make it vibrate. Now an extra action is needed: the user must either access a new option from the context menu or wait longer. It is also possible to hold the cone and drag it right after.

In the following tutorial, check out how to delete or change the organization of apps on your iPhone home screen. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8, but the tips also apply to other models of the Apple phone.

Step 1. Hold down the app cone for a moment. In the context menu, touch "Rearrange Apps." Applications will start shaking and you will be able to move them;

Step 2. To delete an app, tap on the "X" in the upper right corner of the app icon you want to remove, and confirm in "Delete";

Step 3. You can also keep the app icon pressed longer. The context menu will appear and disappear after a few seconds. Apps will start shaking and you can move or uninstall apps;

Step 4. Another way to organize your apps by pressing the icon and as soon as the context menu is displayed, drag in any direction.
