iPhone 7 Plus catches fire and viralizes video; Apple says it is investigating the case

Things have just warmed up to the side of Apple. That's because the owner of a iPhone 7 Plus rose gold shared the day before yesterday on twitter a video of his device frying.

So my iPhone 7 Plus exploded this morning. I wasn't even using it, literally no explanation for it happening.

Brianna Olivas, the owner of the iPhone, is 18 years old and told the Mashable what happened. The day before the device didn't turn on, so she went to an Apple store, where employees conducted several tests and found that everything was normal; The cell phone kept working normally until the next day.

Here is the account:

The next morning, I was sleeping with my phone charging next to my head, my boyfriend grabbed the phone and put it on the dresser. He went to the bathroom, saw my phone steaming and (heard) a shrill noise. By the time he reached the phone that had already caught fire, he quickly picked it up and threw it into the bathroom. As soon as he did that, the phone exploded and more smoke began to come out of the phone.

The handset was delivered Apple which confirmed to the Mashable who is already aware of the video and is "contacting the client to find out the case". Olivas said company officials said they are conducting tests and expect to have a response within a week.

Whenever such a case arises, we soon report to the tragic explosions of the Samsung Galaxy Note7. However, as the problem was unique (although users claim on Twitter that their devices also exploded, it is unknown to what extent they are joking), it may be that Apple claims as it has done in other cases that the explosion was caused by “ external factors ”, ie the use of fake chargers, faulty house mains, iPhone being charged in hot environments (perhaps left between sheets or the like), etc.

The assumptions are different, but we cannot claim that one or the other is guilty of what happened. For now, just wait for the verdict.
