We've talked a few times here about the supposed "IPhone 6c", a variation of the current line of iPhones that could be launched this year, with a 4-inch screen, in order to replace the iPhone 5s. Demand for this we have already seen that exists and only depends on Apple for something like this to happen.
The idea of ​​this device, at least according to rumors, is to be a smaller version of the current line (with the same design, even with aluminum body). It would not have some interesting features like 3D Touch (it probably wouldn't have the second generation Touch ID either), but on the other hand it would be much more interesting than an iPhone 5s as it would come with an A9 processor and 2GB of RAM (just like the current iPhones ), NFC technology (to make payments with Apple Pay) and a 1,642mAh battery (slightly larger than the 5s, 1,570mAh).
Because according to the 9to5Mac, this new iPhone may have colors similar to those of iPod touch.
Depending on the price of this "iPhone 6c", it could very well cannibalize once and for all the sales of iPod touch, perhaps serving as a trigger for their discontinuation.
