IPhone 6 Plus battery supply is depleted in many countries; normalization forecast is for March / April

If you have one iPhone 6 Plus And it is intended to replace the battery because of the polemic involving reducing the processing power of appliances with old batteries well, have to wait a while.

According to an internal company document obtained by the MacRumors distributed to Apple stores and Authorized Service Centers, the batteries for this particular iPhone model have simply evaporated! They will only be back in stock at the end of March / early April in the United States and other countries. The company also stated that these deadlines may vary in some regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Russia and Turkey.

The good news, according to the document, is that batteries of other models are widely available in virtually every country.

Apple's battery replacement program ends on December 31, 2018. Here, users can change the battery of iPhones 6 or newer paying here in Brazil $ 149 instead of $ 449; in the United States, the value dropped from $ 79 to $ 29.

This lower price, however, is only valid for a replacement per device (no use trying to replace the battery of an iPhone 6 now and again in December, for example). In the case of iPhones still under warranty, this exchange will be made at no cost to the customer.

We are looking for information on battery stocks (specifically for the iPhone 6 Plus, but also other models) and will update this article as soon as (and if) we receive news.
