iPhone 5 is now a classic product

Six years after its original release, the iPhone 5 just joined the classic product list (vintage) from Apple as noted by the japons blog Macotakara.

This means that Apple is now no longer providing technical support for the smartphone except for California (the United States) and Turkey, where it only happens two years from now (when it actually becomes obsolete).

The iPhone 5 was the first to bring the Lightning port and increase the smartphone screen from 3.5 to 4 inches. It came with Apple's A6 (still 32-bit) chip and began adopting 4G / LTE support. The original iOS was 6.0, but it ran until 10.3.3.

Anyone still wearing one of these beauties? 😊
