iPhone 12: new leak reveals 4 OLED models and up to 6GB of RAM

The iPhone 12 can have one of the largest screens on the market and up to two versions with three cameras

While the iPhone 11 had three versions (normal, Pro and Pro Max), the next generation of devices from Apple have an additional model. According to a new report by analysts of the suo group UBS, there are versions of iPhone 12 in 6.7 inches, 6.1 inches (two and three lenses) and one 5.4 inches.

Timothy Arcuri (Director General) and Munjal Shah (Director of the Heritage Research area) report that the first two versions will have rear cameras with three lenses with 3D sensors and 6GB of RAM, and the other two versions will have two lenses and 4GB of RAM. In addition, they also have expectations that smartphones will have OLED screen.

The camera information also partially hits with another leak, made by the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at the beginning of December last year. A UBS survey of five world powers reports that 22% of the public points out that 5G It is a reason that justifies switching to a newer device soon, it is also expected that the iPhone 12 will highlight this technology.

The two 6.1-inch models can point to a price increase, which is a surprise for those with the iPhone 11 Pro (since the standard iPhone with two lenses is bigger and more expensive than the Pro, with three lenses). Another detail is the fact that this is the largest iPhone ever launched, as there is a growth of 6.5 to 6.7 inches (with this “iPhone 12 Max”). The screen would be only slightly smaller than the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, but it would still be one of the largest on the market.

The prototype screen, which leaked in September and illustrates this post, was created by the conceptual artist Ben Geskin. The concept removes the notch and houses the sensors at the top of the screen, along the edges themselves. In the image below right, we can see: infrared camera, infrared lighting for facial recognition, two sensors (proximity and light), a speaker, microphone, front camera and face depth sensor, respectively.

A Bloomberg publication reveals Apple's interest in applying technology to digital reader embedded in the screen, because with the success of the tests carried out on the “iPhone 2020” (that is, what we now know is the iPhone 12) the technology may be ready until the 2021 edition. As the image above denounces, the idea of sensors like the dot projector would have the function of enabling another unlock, with the facial recognition. An image from Forbes corroborates the information with the display records with the Touch ID.
