In a note disclosed to investors yesterday, an analyst at Deutsche Bank showed huge expectations for the future popularization of the iPad, once it is launched. The device is believed to compete very well on the market with netbooks, currently popular solutions for tasks such as reading and web access on-the-go.

"With this announcement, Apple now serves any price range, from an iPod to a MacBook Pro," said the analyst, responsible for producing the above comparison table. Through it, it appears that the iPad, even without having the same resource potential of the main netbooks, is still capable of attracting several users due to its affordable price.
However, it is good to remember that Apple did not create the iPad to put it up to netbooks: as Jony Ive himself said in the presentation of the product, “it starts a new category of devices”, which is clear considering that others competitors have greater processing and storage power, for example. Either way, it will be inevitable to see users rejecting the product because they think there are more features available on a netbook.
