iPad mini is more expensive; new iPad Air is cheaper than the old 10.5 ″ Pro

As we reported, Apple today launched new iPads and, as always in launches like this, it took the opportunity to readjust some values related to its line of tablets here on Brazil.

iPad mini 4 vs. new iPad mini

The comparison is obvious, but still not entirely fair since, before, the mini 4 was only sold with a single capacity (128GB); we now have two models on the new iPad mini (64GB and 256GB). Therefore, the “correct” comparison is between entry prices (128GB mini 4 vs. new 64GB mini).

In addition to the model above, as explained, we now also have a 256GB one that costs R $ 4,699 (Wi-Fi) and R $ 5,799 (Wi-Fi + Cellular) respectively.

10.5 ″ iPad Pro vs. new iPad Air

In the case of the new Air, the fairest comparison would be with the old Pro of 10.5 ″, which until yesterday was still marketed by Apple. They count the same screen size and we can say here, without any fear, that the new Air actually replaces the old Pro, with very strong technical specifications.

That said, let’s go to the price comparison:

Remembering that, with the new tablets, Apple also launched new accessories (Smart Cases, Smart Covers, Smart Keyboards, etc.) – you can check them all in this article.
