From a few years to now, the scenario of jailbreak completely changed. Hackers abandoned the boat, iOS itself incorporated several features natively, Apple increasingly closed in and many, lots of money swapped hands for it.
Now, just a few days after the launch of iOS 9, a security company called ZERODIUM announced that pay $ 1 million fur jailbreak of the system.
Detail: the exploit that it seeks to be executed via a web page or text message, more or less as the JailbreakMe tool in 2010 worked. untethered (i.e. definitive).
Those who work in the area know that there is no foolproof software. A breach for jailbreak may not have been found yet on iOS 9, but it exists. What the value of $ 1 million R $ 4 million shows that iOS has reached a maturity so great that now such a discovery is not worth anything.
The ultimate jailbreak publicly available (from the Chinese group TaiG) runs until iOS 8.4. In version 8.4.1, Apple closed all loopholes exploited by it.
ZERODIUM has set a deadline for participation until October 31 and has already stated that it will pay the reward for up to three different solutions. What will she do with that in hand, however, no one knows for sure

That is, there is now a jailbreak for iOS 9.1 and up to 9.2 beta executable directly by the browser. The problem is that this is unlikely to be made available to the public.
