iOS 13.5.5 becomes 13.6 and reaches its second beta [atualizado 4x]

Apple releases GM versions of iOS 13.6, iPadOS 13.6, watchOS 6.2.8 and tvOS 13.4.8, in addition to macOS Catalina 10.15.6 beta 4

Don’t ask me why, but Apple is quite indecisive when it comes to numbering their system versions. The first “mess” was to launch tests of version 13.4.5 of iOS / iPadOS, when in fact the expected was 13.4.1; shortly thereafter, it turned that version 13.4.5 into 13.5.

Recently, she again released a trial version of iOS / iPadOS far from the current one, available to all users with compatible gadgets – while on iOS / iPadOS 13.5.1, she went there and released version 13.5.5.

Today, when releasing the second trial version of iOS / iPadOS 13.5.5, the company decided to rename them to iOS / iPadOS 13.6 (build 17G5045c). Along with these systems, Apple also made available the macOS Catalina 10.15.6 beta 2 (19G46c), the tvOS 13.4.8 beta 2 (17M5545a) and the Xcode 11.6 beta (11N700h).

In addition to the traditional bug fixes and general improvements, the big news of iOS / iPadOS 13.6 is the indication that Apple News + (subscription service for the company’s newspapers and magazines, available in some countries) will gain an audio feature, so that listen to the news. On the iPadOS, there are references to the system coming with new keyboard shortcuts to control brightness and volume.

Soon, such operating systems are also released for Apple Beta Software Program participants.

If other news are found in the new versions, we will update this post informing everything. ?

And a cool novelty has already been spotted:

I don’t remember seeing this before on iOS / iPadOS – a way to allow your device to download and / or install updates automatically, without necessarily saying yes or no to both. Better quality of life. Found on iPadOS 13.6 beta 2.

It is not very common to see Apple giving this level of control to users, so something new is always welcome.

The app Cheers (Health) is also gaining a new area of Symptoms (Symptoms) on iOS 13.6, as reported by MacRumors:

There, users will be able to record any symptoms they have identified in their bodies, such as pain, constipation, changes in appetite, dizziness, coughing, etc.

In each of them, you can describe details in your own words and classify the symptom as severe, moderate, present or not present.

Certainly a great addition to the healthcare platform.

Another discovery involving Apple News: according to MacRumors, the second beta version of iOS / iPadOS 13.6 has a feature that saves exactly where you left off reading an article when exiting the News app, making things a lot easier.

Also according to the website, the app needs about 30 seconds to know exactly where you are reading; if you leave the app before that, it’s gone.
