Samsung can launch at any time a new series of intermediate devices that, interestingly, can be called Galaxy On. Two models that can compose this new line of devices from the South Korean company had their specifications disclosed, they are: Galaxy Grand On and Galaxy Mega On. See details below.
The specifications were obtained by SamMobile, which had already released information about the existence of these two new models at the beginning of August. However, the website has only now had access to the technical specifications of the Galaxy Grand On and Mega On. Both devices should be marketed as optimized versions of the Galaxy J series, which in Brazil is represented by the Galaxy J5 and J7.
Galaxy Grand On and Galaxy Mega On: Screen
The Galaxy Mega On (model: SM-G600) will feature a 5.5 inch screen and Full HD resolution (1080p). The Galaxy Mega model should be the largest, since the Galaxy Grand On (model: SM-G550) will have a 5-inch screen with HD resolution (720p). There is no information on the screen technology that will be used by Samsung, however, if the purpose of this new series is to be a hybrid between the Galaxy A and J line we can expect a Super AMOLED panel.

The technical specifications are not surprising. The Galaxy Mega On will be equipped with the processed Snapdragon 410 64-bit, quad-core 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM.
