With the emergence of apps and technologies such as Google Photos, Messenger, Uber Eats, Telegram, Siri and many others, activities like these have become trivial and are part of everyday life for ordinary users. A social network focused on posting photos and videos, Instagram was launched in October 2010. The platform, which was exclusive for iPhone until 2012, quickly became the most popular network for sharing images, with the right to filters and creative editing.
Until then, those who enjoyed sharing their routine on the Internet through images had other options. Orkut, the favorite social network of Brazilians at the time, offered a resource of photo albums in which the user could organize the files and interact with his friends, tagging each other and leaving comments on the posts.

The idea of calling a taxi or private car using a cell phone, following the route in real time and making payments in a digital way seemed far from reality in early 2010. At that time, the most sophisticated way to facilitate transportation with the help of of the Internet was to use Google Maps. As of 2008, public transport routes in Brazilian cities started to appear in the tool.
However, not all cell phones have GPS at that time. One option was to create the route on the computer and print it out, or memorize the map before leaving home. The most common way to get a car was to call a taxi on the street or call a point.

Editing videos in early 2010 was not so simple. The task used to be done with a professional program, such as Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas, or with slightly simpler software, such as Windows Movie Maker, the first editing tool in many people's lives. With the edited video, the file could be posted on YouTube.
There were no social networks focused on short videos and with neat editing functions. TikTok is an example of this, with a wide variety of features, sounds and filters for editing videos of up to 15 seconds on any subject.

Ten years ago, however, there was no Tinder and other platforms that seek to combine users with a match, using geolocation or specific personality traits. There is also a ranking of food quality, information on prices and the possibility to pay for everything through the app.

Google Photos allows the user to automatically upload their photos to the cloud, which organizes albums and promises to keep files safe, accessible from anywhere. All you need is an internet connection and the user's photo history is available for consultation on any device.
The idea of storing data in the cloud was still in its infancy ten years ago, and was beginning to become popular with tools like Dropbox. At that time, whoever had a camera on their cell phone needed to be content with the device's internal storage, and having access to images necessarily depended on having copies of the files on the device.
