Instagram Stories Announces New Camera Look and Way to Create Posts | Social networks

Instagram announced on Tuesday (30) a revamp for the camera function of Stories. In addition to a new look and carousel navigation, the Android and iPhone (iOS) app section gets the "Create" option to mount posts from scratch at "times when there's no photo or video to share". The social network also launched an in-app purchase mode linked to celebrity profiles.

The news came during F8, the Facebook developer event that takes place in the United States. Resources should be available in the coming weeks. See how the latest functions of the social photo and video network work.

The Instagram Stories camera will be redesigned and will separate the functions into three tabs: "Live", "Camera" and "Create". The main transformation is in the third item, the Creation Mode. It renames all functions that do not necessarily carry a background image, such as the Text, Polls, and new Questions sticker.

The idea that the change facilitates usability in everyday life, by dispensing with tricks such as taking photos with neutral color to use as background in the post. All video and photo features like Boomerang and Superzoom, as well as augmented reality filters, will be bundled in "Camera" mode. By dragging the home screen aside, the user will also see a new design, which organizes Stories tools into a carousel selector.

Instagram will provide one more way to buy products directly from influencers. Once exclusive to brands with trading accounts on the platform, the sale of items will also be released to celebrities, artists, publishers and entrepreneurs. According to information from the social network, it will be possible to mark clothes and objects to sell through the shopping cart integrated with the application.

The feature will be available soon to selected content creators. For now, the profiles of the sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, the Italian Chiara Ferragni and the Brazilian Camila Coelho are some that will begin to offer the role to their followers. There is no forecast for the news to be expanded to other platform profiles.
