Instagram released a feature to ask friends for music suggestions using the "Ask a question" sticker. From now on, anyone can upload songs from the Instagram music library. Another feature announced this Tuesday (18th) is the possibility to chat with celebrities while doing a live on the social network, in real time.

Since the 12th, the countdown feature, a sticker that can be inserted in Stories to indicate the arrival of an important event, such as the new year, is also available. According to Instagram, the news are available in the latest versions of the application for iPhone (iOS) and Android.

The music indication feature is inserted inside the question sticker. To use it, just select the musical note icon and edit the text for more specific suggestions. If the person wants songs to start the day, for example, friends can respond by selecting a track from the Instagram music library.
Suggestions are viewed in the same way as traditional tool responses. It is even possible to share them as a soundtrack to a story, accompanied by a photo or video (made on the spot or from the gallery) so that all followers can hear it too.

Questions and answers during the live
The social network also added the functionality of questions to lives asked on the platform, ideal for increasing interaction with celebrities and digital influencers. First, the personality must create a publication with the question box enabled, through which people can include the answers.
Then, if you decide to respond live, the video will be signaled with a Q&A tag. Followers who watch can see which question is currently being answered. In addition, from now on, the app allows you to share, during a live, videos and photos of the camera roll.

The countdown tool, announced on the 12th, is also on Instagram's list of news. The sticker can be added to a video or photo made on the spot or from the smartphone gallery and shared by Stories. The user can personalize the function by adding a name, color, in addition to the default date or time setting of the goal to be achieved.

Once created, the counter will remain available in the sticker tray, to be added to new publications, until the count is over. Friends can tap on the option to follow or share and, if they do, they will be notified when the timer is reset.
