Instagram lets you share photos from Feed in Stories in the style 'repost' | Social networks

Instagram launched a new feature this Thursday (17th) for Stories. It is now possible to directly share the publication of a public account through history. The image will be inserted in Stories as a sticker, and include by default the credits of the profile that made the post initially. Then, just tap on the sticker and the user will be redirected by the application to the page of the account that posted the photo.

The function had already been tested for some months and can, in a way, replace the famous "Repost" or "Rule", which when users use other apps to share their friends' photos.

The feature is already available to everyone and can be found on Instagram inside the paper plane icon, present in the bottom bar of the photos displayed in the user's feed. In addition to the option of sharing the post via direct with friends, with the update of the application, the choice of adding publication to your story is also shown. From there, Instagram Stories is open and the user can make all edits allowed to stickers: decrease or increase the size and rotate the photo. When the story is posted, everyone will see just below the image the name of the profile that owns the original publication, and will be redirected to the profile if they touch the sticker.

How to prevent them from sharing your posts?

It is worth mentioning that it is only possible to share posts from accounts defined as public. The user has the right to disable the sharing function of his own posts, even if his profile is not private. For that, I need to access the settings in the app and disable sharing again in Stories.

Last Thursday (10), Instagram announced another new feature for Stories: the sliding emoji. The sticker allows you to create more interactive polls on the social network through an "intensity" bar in which followers can express themselves according to an emoji.
