One of the most common problems in the Instagram app is sudden termination. The app can close itself for many reasons, from operating system overload to internal file corruption. If the error happens to you, you can fix it with simple actions, such as updating the app, clearing the cache and reinstalling Instagram.
The walkthrough below was done on a Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro, with Android 9 (Pie), but the tips also apply to other models and operating systems. Next, check out four tips that can help solve Instagram's problem by closing alone.

Operating systems often create temporary files to speed up the loading of application data. However, over time, the data ends up accumulating and overloading the cell phone's memory. Excessive files in the cache can be one of the reasons why Instagram closes alone.
Step 1. Open your phone's Settings and navigate to "Applications". Then, search for Instagram in the list;

Restarting the cell phone can be an alternative to solve momentary malfunctions on Instagram, as the process closes all open apps and terminates processes that consume RAM memory, improving the device's performance. Press the "power" button on your phone and select the "Restart" option when the screen below is displayed to restart the phone.

4. Uninstall and install the app again
If none of the above solutions worked, it is likely that the cause of the problem is more complicated. The Instagram app may have been corrupted and lost the ability to function properly, for example. In such cases, you will need to uninstall and install the app again.
Step 1. Open the Instagram page on the Play Store and tap on the "Uninstall" button. Wait for the app to be removed;
