Instead of delivering multiple updates in one go, Google chose to update its apps little by little, thus easing the process. This week, several Gapps were updated, check the news, highlighting the Inbox, Gmail, Presentations and Maps.

Inbox version 1.9 brought two widgets shortcut: "Reminder" and "Write". As the names indicate, the first adds a reminder in the app, and the second creates a new message. Both work as shortcuts, but can be found in the section on widgets from smartphone.
After selecting the shortcut you need to choose which Google account to link to the button and the label to display. The buttons work like the DO Button: when playing, a predetermined function is performed. An important detail: When I created the shortcuts using Action3 Launcher, instead of the round buttons above, the system used the default Inbox icon for both.
APK is available for download from APKMirror.
Inbox by Gmail
O update Google's email app today for those using Yahoo or Microsoft accounts. As of this version, Gmail has Oauth support. For those unfamiliar, Oauth is a protocol that allows the application to access a service more securely without sharing its true credentials. Support will also allow account recovery and verification in two steps.
Finally Google added Chromecast support in the Slides app. Now just touch the Cast symbol and you're done, your performance will be streamed to TV with dongle and be able to control it directly from the smartphone.
The Chromecast icon is only when the presentation opens in the app. The version is compatible with Chromecast 1.2.232.
There are two APKs available on APKMirror, check which one is compatible with your smartphone.
Google Maps has brought a lot of news: the photo gallery now has multiple images preview at the same time and other interface changes; Your Places screen has a shortcut to your published photos and a car rental section has been added. Unfortunately I don't have screenshots these functions, since I do not use any of them.
The settings section gained the option to View scale on map only by zooming in or out at all times. Also, the Shake to send comments option is now unchecked, which is a relief for people who forgot to uncheck.
Available on APKMirror.
In addition to these four apps, others have also received updates. Google app for Android TV, Leanback Launcher (launcher for Android TV), Cast Receiver, Spreadsheets, Google App, Android Auto, Docs, Google +, Chrome and Chrome Dev, Play Services, YouTube, Webview, and Earth received updates smaller, probably just corrections of bugs and performance improvements.
The list of improvements keeps growing, but there is still a lot of work ahead. Which Google app is lagging behind?
