In the middle of last week we talked about an alert that would have been sent to Apple resellers about the imminent lack of iMacs; a day later, some Mac Pro configurations started to run out of stock.
Today we bring another indication of a renewal of the desktop line all-in-one of Ma arriving: the AppleInsider found that stocks of certain iMac models are running low at Apple stores. Products purchased through the Online Store still have a 24-hour shipping forecast, which may indicate that this is the preferred channel for machines still available.
The last update of the iMac occurred in October last year, when the new design with 16: 9 screens was introduced. Rumors indicate that the next renovation may already bring new USB 3.0 and FireWire 1600/3200 ports with some luck, perhaps also enabling the display of 1080p video from external sources.
In any case, just in case, if you can wait a while before buying an Apple desktop, your skin will appreciate it.
