iFood, Uber Eats and Rappi are some of the delivery apps in the country, with millions of downloads from the official Google Play and App Store stores. Available for Android and iPhone (iOS) phones, the services have the same purpose: deliver products from partner establishments, close to the customer's location. While iFood and Uber Eats stand out in the food and beverage category, Rappi expands its operations to orders placed in supermarkets, pharmacies, pet shops, among others. However, the trio have characteristics capable of influencing consumers' decisions.
The main differences between platforms can be observed in matters such as discounts, area of operation and types of service. This way, the user can find the right application for their needs. The following is a comparative list of the main features of iFood, Uber Eats and Rappi, organized by dnetc. The goal is to facilitate the choice of the customer interested in delivery services.

1. Application Interface
The interface of the three applications are very similar to each other. In iFood, the home screen displays the user's address and, below, a list of restaurants open and available for delivery nearby. The user can use the search bar to search for a specific restaurant or dish. The latter can also be searched in the menu of meal categories, which features options such as cafes, frozen, salted, drinks, sweets and cakes, Brazilian food, among others according to the availability of establishments in the region.
In addition, iFood indicates to the user on the home screen the most famous restaurants in the chosen location, the restaurants that make free deliveries, and other tips according to the user's last requests in the app. Uber Eats follows the same interface pattern, with delivery address, active promotions and high restaurants in the region. The main screen features a lower menu where you can also search for restaurants or dishes, view past and scheduled orders, and edit personal information.
Those interested in Rappi find the same information expository system when opening the software. Intuitively, you can identify your chosen shipping address and current balance in Rappi Pay, the online payment method for the service. Customers are also able to select the type of delivery, as the platform offers alternatives such as supermarkets, pharmacies, pet shops, malls and others. In the "Restaurants" category you can find out which ones have free shipping, check out the open stores nearby and check the available discounts.

Remember that all applications are available for both Google and Apple operating systems. In addition, they can also be used in the computer browser in the desktop version. Another advantage is the low memory usage, as the software is lightweight and does not take up significant space on the devices in which it was installed. This avoids processor overload and possible crashes and crashes.
The similarities in interfaces differ from the particulars of each service with respect to functionality. Check out the main ones: list of establishments, establishment categories, loyalty program, order scheduling and delivery tracking. Items can be as criteria during the process of platform selection by the user.
List of establishments
Depending on the location of the user and the partnership between the companies, some establishments are only active exclusively for one of the three applications. This means that not all restaurants listed on iFood, for example, will also be displayed on Uber Eats or Rappi. The list of services may vary by platform.
While iFood and Uber Eats have their delivery services focused on meals, Rappi is the most comprehensive in its area and it has pharmacies, malls, supermarkets, wineries, among others. In it, it is also possible to request delivery in the "Anything" option. In this role, the user tells the app which product they want (and can be shipped), where it is found, and a price range that corresponds to the total purchase price. This way, the purchase and delivery are made by one of the app's deliverers and an additional charge to the user's delivery fee.

Rappi also offers a loyalty program, Rappi Prime. The feature can be contracted in monthly or annual versions and has the advantage of free shipping fee, which becomes unlimited for the user. In addition, subscribers are exempt from any additional charges for deliveries made on night or on rainy days unlike users who do not participate in the system. The iFood and Uber Eats apps do not offer loyalty programs to their users.
Order scheduling is an extra feature available only on Uber Eats and iFood. With the feature, the user can schedule a delivery of some establishment at the requested address on the date you want. This is an alternative so that he does not forget to make a purchase, for example.
IFood has recently incorporated into its service real-time tracking of customer requested deliveries. This way, the user is notified when an order leaves the store towards the programmed address. Interested parties can natively track the delivery of the delivery man to the final destination. The functionality was already available for Uber Eats and Rappi users.
3. List of Establishments
One of the advantages offered by iFood is a longer list of partner establishments, possibly for being longer in the market than competitors. The platform covers areas outside capitals and large shopping centers. On the other hand, Rappi brings a wider variety of categories of establishments. While it is possible to place orders in various places like supermarkets and pharmacies, iFood and Uber Eats are limited only to meals, ordered from the list of establishments available in the app.

Payment methods for delivery applications vary. In iFood, generally the available payment options are the choice of establishments, ie it is up to the restaurant to define how you will receive the purchase price. One of the options is through the software itself, where you can pay via a registered credit or debit card, MasterPass or Google Pay. The second option is payment on delivery, where money, credit and debit cards are allowed, and even food stamps.
For Uber Eats, payment options are selected by the app. Those interested in paying online can opt for credit or debit cards registered in the app or PayPal. For those who wish to pay on order delivery, the only option available is cash.

Rappi stands out for offering its own system called Rappi Pay. It works like an electronic wallet, which allows you to register a credit card and add balance. The purpose of the system is to facilitate the transfer of values between application users to settle an account divided by several people, for example. Also use other forms of payment such as online credit card, cash, PayPal and debit card available options depend on the chosen establishment.
The e-wallet method is also applied to iFood. This way, the user can recharge a value, apply a QR Code at the time of payment and get a discount on the next purchases. However, the function is not yet available for all regions served by the application.
Sending discount coupons to registered users is a regular practice for the iFood, Uber Eats and Rappi trio. Although each has its own rebate program, it is common to send SMS to the subscriber base with limited time offers, which decrease the final order value.
Other types of discounts can be obtained within the software. At Uber Eats, the user has the option to share a discount coupon with others. If they bind the code on the first use of the service, the sender is given a value to be slaughtered on future requests. Rappi users can meet challenges to earn RappiCrditos, balance that can be used for in-app purchases.
