List of establishments

Restaurants are available on the home screen, but each app has its own style. If in iFood the information is in the form of text with the logos of the establishments, in SpoonRocket, each option is represented by a very striking image, which fills the entire screen.

In this list, SpoonRocket informs the category of the restaurant, the distance it is from its location and the specific delivery time is one of its differentials. Another exclusivity of the app is the possibility to follow the order path in real time.

Although iFood provides only an estimated delivery time range, it also indicates the consumer rating for the restaurant in addition to the establishment's price range, represented by the number of dollar signs ($). Another unique feature is the iFood side menu, which gives access to filters to order the search by rating, delivery time, price and distance, in addition to the free payment methods and delivery option.

The number of restaurants available in each app should vary according to the user's location. Both ask for information, such as zip code and address, to locate nearby establishments, and inform which ones are open or closed, depending on the time. IFood offers 28 types of cuisine to choose from, while SpoonRocket organizes your options into 25 categories.

IFood is available in more than 390 municipalities in all states of the country. In addition to operating in Brazil, it offers services in Argentina, Mexico and Colombia. The SpoonRocket is available, for now, only in certain locations in the cities of So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Braslia and Belo Horizonte, with expansion expected soon.

IFood accepts payments through the app in cards and also online meal vouchers. In addition, the purchase can be paid at the time of delivery, in cash, credit cards, debit cards, checks and various types of meal vouchers. The SpoonRocket, on the contrary, only carries out transactions through the app on credit cards.

On Google Play, iFood received the same rating and was rated by more than 640,000 people, while Spoonrocket was rated by just over 4,000 people so far, with a 3.8 rating. The app, which started with a free delivery fee for all restaurants, and lost many points with users when it started to cover it.
