13-inch MacBook Air, AirPort Extreme, AirPort Time Capsule… something was missing from the iFixit disassemble, is not it? No longer! They have already put their hands together and dissected an 11-inch MacBook Air – model A1465, same identification as the 2012 machine.

As you can imagine, he is very, very similar to his big brother, with the exception of the 11-inch screen and the 7.6V and 5.100mAh battery, which has an autonomy of 9 hours, according to Apple.

Another difference worth mentioning: on the 13 ″ Air, all components related to the SSD were from Samsung; in the 11 ″, the NAND flash chip is from SanDisk, while the controller (88SS9183) is from Marvell – only the DDR3 SDRAM (K4B2G1646E) are from Samsung.

The “repairability” note is the same as the 13-inch MacBook Air: 4/10 – more information can be found on the iFixit website.
For those interested, the new machines are already on sale in Brazil, costing R $ 4,200 (11 inches; 128GB) and R $ 5,000 (11 inches; 256GB).
