At the time, the speech was very nice and had everything to do with the arrival of the tablet. But now, Steve, what are the real benefits of an 11.6 ″ MacBook Air, an Apple netbook? Is it better than an iPhone and better than a MacBook for certain tasks, like an iPad?

We'll know on Wednesday, I imagine. But if the rumors about this new MacBook Air are correct, it will have a captive space in Apple's new line of notebooks: even more compact, light, cheap and fast.
