Apple yesterday launched “vsperas” of the official release of iOS 13, iPadOS 13 and macOS Catalina, the new look of the portal. iCloud. For now, the news is only available on the beta version of the online platform.
Compared to the current iCloud, which has a blue bubble background and (gigantic) web app icons, the new site has become more clean, following the aesthetics of most Ma pages.
Other changes include new web app Sticky notes (Reminders), which mirrors the iOS app (allowing users to create, manage, and delete their reminders), removing the Settings web app, which has been replaced by the “Account Settings” link, and the “Launchpad” to return you to the iCloud home screen).
Note that you need to have iOS / iPadOS 13 or macOS Catalina 10.15 installed to get access to the new Reminders, as you will be upgrading to a new version of any of the new systems.
In addition to the desktop, the new look is also optimized for smartphones, enabling users to manage iCloud data, files, photos and email from mobile browsers as well.
Also, all other functions and web apps have been kept in beta, but this may change (or not) until the official release which should happen when new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS available to all users.
